Dog C3 vaccination (parvovirus, hepatitis, distemper)

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

Vaccination costs are not covered by WARC and cost $100, to be paid in cash at the time of your appointment.

Please ensure that you select the right type of vaccination for your dog so that we bring enough stock.

Your options are:
C3 vaccinations (covering parvovirus, infections hepatitis and distemper) will often last three years, so please check if your dog is due.
Kennel cough (KC) vaccines are due annually and are usually required if your dog is going into kennels.
A C5 vaccine includes both a C3 and kennel cough.

If you're not sure, or if your dog has never been vaccinated before, please book a C5 appointment and the vet can discuss this with you at the time of your appointment.

This is an appointment to have a healthy dog vaccinated. It will include a physical examination to ensure that your dog can be safely vaccinated, and may include basic parasite treatment or prevention if this is appropriate.

If your pet has any health concerns you MUST book an appropriate appointment type or we will not have time to do those things. If you want them vaccinated in addition to a consult about health concerns, please book both appointment types.

Healthy pet checkup

Pet health concern consultation

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
This is an appointment for a consultation for an animal with a health concern.

We can conduct a physical examination on your animal and provide some veterinary advice, but we do not have the equipment that a veterinary hospital has, and therefore are limited in what we can do. We do not have equipment to conduct blood tests or x-rays, for example, and if these are needed you will be referred to a vet hospital in Darwin where these can be conducted (with appointments and costs to be determined by them). By booking this appointment you confirm that you have read and acknowledge these limitations which are inherent in remote community veterinary care.

If your animal requires a prescription for a treatment that we do not have with us, there is an associated $20 prescription fee for the veterinary time and expertise associated with this. All fees are to be paid in cash at the time of appointment.

Treatments we do have with us which are not already funded by the council may also attract fees to be determined at the time of your appointment.

This appointment does NOT include vaccination. If you also want your animal to be vaccinated, you must also book that type of appointment in addition to this one. If you animal is unwell, it may not be safe for them to be vaccinated, so please bear this in mind.
